Please continue to pray

This is cut from Korin's (Owner of Sweet N' Sassy stamps) blog. It is her 19 month old niece who has downs syndrome and is also battling leukemia, she is such a sweetheart you can follow her journey here I am asking everyone to pray for little Janessa and the entire family they have been through so much already and have more to go but God is in control and will see them through! . Korin is also having a fundraiser for her at SNSS to help out the family if you would like to donate

Janessa's Journey Continues
I was hoping to tell you that the Joseph's are home today, but unfortunately they have had another set back. Janessa went in for her Broviac system replacement surgery yesterday morning. Her counts were up and she was making platelets on her own so they were hoping to go home last night some time. However, this is the update I just received from Julie...
"Sorry for not letting you all know sooner, but there was more to the puzzle than just the surgery. It went well and her new line works just fine. She had no effects from the anesthesia and all of her counts were looking good. This morning when they checked, all of her cell counts had dropped. The white went from 1.7 to 0.4 (very significant drop) and her red cells are also dropping. If they drop another 0.5 they will need to transfuse her. She has a slight fever as well. We don't know yet why all of this is happening and if the fever continues she will be started on a second antibiotic. Not the news we were hoping for as we really wanted them be going home today. It will probably be a few to several days yet until we find out what's going on and the numbers start going up again. Please keep lifting our little girl up in prayer.
For now,
The Joseph Family"Please, please, please keep praying for Janessa and her family. I know so many of you are and I can't thank you enough. She is a trooper and so are her parents and siblings, but this is all very tiring for them and they still have so far to go. God will continue to give them the strength they need to get through this especially with so many uplifting them in prayer! Pray that the doctors can find out why she keeps getting these fevers and why her counts dropped again. Pray that her white cell count goes up instead of dropping again. And pray that the family can get the rest they need through all of this. May God's comforting arms hold them close.... Thank you for praying...from the bottom of my heart! Korin

Fundraiser/Sweet N' Sassy Stamps

Korin the owner of Sweet N' Sassy stamps is having a fundraiser to help her 19 month old niece, Janessa, who has MDS (pre-leukemia). Starting today through July 31st she is donating 50% from each stamp set sold (not including Sarah Kay and Rachelle Anne Miller) to help with the medical bills. So if you've been thinking about getting some stamps sets, NOW!! is the time to do it! Not only will you be helping little Janessa, but at the same time you will get to be the owner of SNS stamps. I have several sets as you can see by my cards, I love them all! Korin has some great sets especially her scripture sets, so head over to Sweet N' Sassy stamps and purchase some today!
To follow along Janessa's journey visit her Caring Bridge page.
Janessa has finished round two of her chemo treatments but it's been a roller coaster for the whole family as you can imagine. She has 3 older brothers and 1 older sister but they are all under the age of 12. She has at least 4 more treatments to go so they still have a long way ahead of them.
This is a precious little Girl! you can see a picture of her on Korin's blog Inkydoodle or her Caring Bridge page. If all you can do is pray, then please pray for her and the family! God is good and he WILL get them through this!!!

Stamp Something/ Ismaki #26

Stamp Something challenge is to Dazzle us with something, something that sparkles, shines, shimmers, or glitters!! This also a chance to be a guest designer for their blog in August. I would love to be a designer on a card blog, a dream of mine since I started doing challenges. The sketch is from Ismaki #26. Ismaki has some great sketches using alot of layering.

The supplies I used are:
The butterfly from Stampin Up, the paperpack is "paper Garden from CTMH, the flowers are K&Co, and the ribbon is American Crafts. I also used Stickles on the striped paper along with the Butterfly to give it plenty of sparkle. I hope you can see all the sparkle on the card. It was hard to get a picture that would show it.

Friday Sketchers #9 /CCT /MTTC

I love trying to put more than one challenge into a card, not only does it save time, but trying to see how many challenges you can put into one card is challenging in itself. This one is a triple challenge card. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers they have some great sketches you should try them if you haven't yet. The challenge this week on Cute Card Thursday is the great outdoors and My Time to Craft has Seasons for their challenge. One of my favorite seasons is fall so I made a fall card using some bright summery colors to match the sentiment "A fallen leaf is nothing more than a summers wave goodbye." It also fits the outdoors theme challenge of CCT.

The stampset, buttons are CTMH, and the papers are from MME.

Post- A- Prayer

Made this for a challenge for SweetNSassy Stampers a yahoo group which I am a member of. Each month there is a new challenge and this month is a post-it holder. The paper is Crete Paper "Blue Hill" and the stamp set is "Pray without Ceasing" a Sweet N Sassy Set of course! Korin has lots of scripture sets at SNSS and I love them all. The holder is made out of coasters and I also stamped on each sheet of paper to give it an extra touch. This was a fun challenge.
