CCC # 7 / Sketch Saturday/Stamp Something

This week at CCC the challenge is Christmas and since I have been on a roll of making Christmas cards then this challenge fit right into my schedule. To play along go to Cupcake Craft Challenges and leave a comment along with a link to your blog so we can see your Christmas creation and you will be entered for a prize. The sketch for this card can be found at Sketch Saturday. Also the challenge at Stamp Something is exactly that, to go and STAMP SOMETHING!

The paper is CTMH and I am not sure where the stamp is from I have had it for awhile. I love Snowmen!

CPS # 83 / CCT

Another Christmas card I will get done one day soon making my Christmas cards.

The challenge this week at Cute Card Thursday is "Sparkle" so I used Christmas red stickles on the wreath for sparkle.

The sketch is from CPS #83. The stamps are from CTMH and the paper is Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding"

Fireproof

I went tonight with my church to a special viewing of the new movie Fireproof. This was a great movie that I would suggest to everyone to go see. It makes you laugh and cry and of course makes you think. If you or have a friend that are having relational problems or who doesn't have a personal relationship with Christ, It is a great movie to send them too as well. I won't give away any of it in case you want to go but again It is a Great movie and you will be blessed by going.

Belli Challenge #35 Metal Tags

The Belli Queen Chris Dickinson has come up with a great belli challenge this week at Creating with Chrissy.

I had fun making this one. I recycled a soda can for the tag. I cut and embossed it with my Cuttlebug and then stamped some leaves with the a set "Nature's Vein" from CTMH and cut them out, the sentiment is also from CTMH, just a different set " summer's wave", as well round metal token. The picture is a little blurry so I will try to take another tomorrow outside and re post to this post. Ismaki 31/ A Spoon Full of Sugar

Another Christmas card! For this one I used a sketch from Ismaki # 31. I also made it for the challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar "Christmas is Coming". The stamp set is from CTMH and the paper is from my stash. I used a little bling for the flower centers and a photo corner to give it an extra touch.

This sketch is one of Jen's on I{Heart}2Stamp and the stamp is My Little Chickadee from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps. It turned out to be Christmasee (if that's a word) with the red and green, I think I am stuck in the Christmas mode as I have started making Christmas cards as it will be here before we realize it.

Another Fall Card

This cute little scarecrow is a Sweet N' Sassy original. I am also entering this monochromatic card along with the previous one in the sweetandsassy stampers yahoo group's September challenge for a chance to win a stamp set. I tried to make his overalls look worn as much as possible. Turned out ok I guess

Go Banana's #11

This card is made with a sketch by Anna Banana, she is one of my new SBS24 sisters so I thought I would try some of her sketches. She has a new one each week on her blog, if you would like to try one. This week's sketch could mean a guest designer spot as well. Everything with this one is from CTMH. I love the sentiment on this one, and I used the pumpkin cuttlebug folder because of the "Harvest" theme, I also used fall colors so I can also enter it in another contest for a fall card.

I {heart} 2 stamp/ Stamp Something

After joining the Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers I ran across this image
that I got from Sparkle as a RAK so I decided to make a card with it since
it reminded me of the Sisterhood. The sketch is from I {Heart} 2 stamp it is a Bella-rific sketch for you to try,other words use your Bella's
and the color combo is a challenge over at Stamp Something. We are getting plenty of rain from Ike so today was definitely a card making day. I will share a couple more I created tomorrow.

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers 24

I am joining the Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers group #24 and I need to introduce myself. I looked over the list and I do know a couple of ladies. Chris Dickinson whom is the Belli Queen, and Shelly who is on Chris' Belli design team with me.
I am a happily married mom of three, who are all grown now, my youngest Courtney is here with me in Arkansas and the other two Christopher (Chris) and Brittney are back home on the east coast. When I remarried, my husband(Robin) got transferred out here. Brittney is in college and Chris works so they choose not to move out here with me. I miss the bunches along with the rest of my family.
I have been stamping for about 5 years now and absolutely love it. I am a Close To My Heart consultant, as I looked at my fellow sisters blogs it looks like I am going to make friends with a lot of SU demonstrators :)
I am active in my church and lead a scrapping ministry "ShareCroppers" and have just started a card ministry as well. I love the Lord and want to use my talents for HIS glory!
I look forward to getting to know my sisters and making new friendships!

Rambling and a card

I just got finished with the book "The Shack" if you have not read this one I would highly recommend it, if you like to read. It's hard to put down once you start and is a great book.
Praying for all those in the path of Ike, my DH is out of town on business over on the east coast and the town he is in is running out of gas. Hopefully Ike will not mess up any refineries and he can get home on Tuesday.
Since I am pretty much home alone, my daughter is with friends, then I decided to make this fun card. The sketch is one of Laura's 2Sketches4you. The butterflies are from Autumn Leaves and the sentiment is CTMH

My new DT spot for Cupcake Craft Challenge is not officially until this coming Monday but I had to play along with this challenge because it is to use a cupcake in your creation and I love cupcakes. This card also qualifies for 3 more challenges. The sketch is from A Spoon Full Of Sugar, Cute Card Thursday is Pretty In Pink. My Time to Craft is Bright and Bold. So it meets all of these and becomes another four in one challenge card :)

Four In One

Happy Wednesday!

Its time for this weeks Belli Challenge over at Creating with Chrissy. The challenge is FIBERS! so I used fibers with this Sketch from Friday Sketchers. and I colored my image with fall flowers and used fall colors for the Fall challenge at Stamp Something and the Autumn Haze challenge at PaperTake Weekly and it worked out perfectly to become a 4 in1. I love the Fall of the year. God's beauty is truly Amazing .

I am looking forward to seeing what you create using fibers. To participate in the challenge all you have to do is create something using fibers and then post a link to your creation on Creating with Chrissy.

Back from Disney and even more Exciting News!

Hello all!
I am back from Disney and we had a blast! Rode all the fun rides Tower of Terror, Rock & Roll A Coaster, Expedition Everest, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Soaring, well pretty much all the rides! Friday and Saturday nights were Night of Joy with Christian bands like Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, Barlow Girl, Brandon Heath, Brit Nicole and others. We had a really good time and I got to see some of my family back east. But what a week boy am I tired. I miss doing challenges so I will get started back tomorrow night. So check out my blog on Wednesday to see what I have come up with for this weeks Belli Challenge.
Now for the exciting news, when I checked email and I was asked to be a DT member for a new challenge blog Cupcake Craft Challenge where there is a new challenge every Monday. Exciting News

My Exciting news is that I made the DT for Am I A Scrap Addict. I am currently at Walt Disney World so I hope this is posting! This is my first card and I must say it was challenging! I am excited and proud to be a DT Member!

This will be my second design team member as I am a member of the Belli Challenge DT over @ Creating with Chrissy. Where she does a belli challenge each Wednesday
