Belli Challenge #48

Yay Its Belli Day!
Since we have the New Year approaching this weeks challenge is to make a project using a Near Year or Party theme. I have no New Year stamps so I had to go with the party theme and make a birthday card. The sketch is this weeks challenge at Stamp Something, I try to combine challenges when I can and love to see how many I can get in one project but I only combined two this go round.

New Challenge Blog

Hey y'all I ran across a new challenge blog and it is only in its 2nd week. The name is Roses on Paper and this week's challenge is a sketch challenge. You should give it a try. This also qualifies for Cute Card Thursday's challenge because it's an open theme.

Five things I am addicted to hummm.....

1. I think the first has to be papercrafting whether its cards, scrapbook pages or altering something I am usually in my room doing something on good days.
2. Next would have to be blogging I think because I love to look at other blogs for inspiration and just to see all the wonderful things others make.
3.Third would have to be peanut M&M's I have a bowl that I keep near me when I am creating
4. I guess fourth would be HGTV I watch that channel all the time if I am not creating.
5. Lastly would be reading, I love to read!

Cupcake #20

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I enjoyed my time back home with family It was a long tiring trip 19 hours but well worth it to see family again!

Merry Christmas

I would like to take a moment and thank each of you for all the wonderful comments you leave me about my artwork and to also wish each of you a Blessed Merry Christmas. Today is a special day as we sing Happy Birthday to our Savior! If you are out there and do not know the true meaning of Christmas please don't let another day go by without knowing about that Holy Night. Christmas is about a Savior not a Santa!

Cupcake #19

First I want to say Merry Christmas to everyone! I have gone back home to the east coast for Christmas but scheduled this to post today and I have another post scheduled for my Belli Challenge on Wednesday.

The challenge this week at Cupcake Craft Challenges is "Printing", all you have to do is create something; a page, card, any kind of project and print on it. go here and leave a comment with a link to your creation and you will be entered in a drawing .

Mine is a gift I made for my sister and I printed "Technique Tips" . I used cardboard as the cover and tore it to give it that worn effect and I used another one of my Magnolia images that was so graciously given to me.

Christmas Elegance CBC46

Happy Wednesday! Today for the Belli Challenge it is "Christmas Wrapping Paper" , use it as designer paper, cut images out of it, make it your focal image on a card, make your own wrapping paper, be creative! Anything you choose as long as it has something to do with "Wrapping Paper". When you complete your project go here to Creating with Chrissy and leave a comment with a link to your creation and be entered to win some design paper. If you post on Splitcoast then use CBC46 as your keyword.

This picture really doesn't do my card justice but I tried and tried to get a good picture. I used wrapping paper as a design paper and the paper I used is foil and I embossed the star and tree holder so the flash kept bouncing off of one of them so I gave up and decided this one works for me, but it really turned out quite elegant. The navy I used to stamp the tree is the same navy in the paper and the grey are pretty close as well but the picture doesn't show it very well at all :(

Dec.16th reveal

This is the sketch sent to the DT by Deanne at Just my sketches. She comes up with 2 card sketches and 2 layout sketches twice a month for you to try. For my card I used another Magnolia image, can't remember the name. but they are cuties :)
The sentiment is from Sweet N' Sassy stamps. This card also qualifies for the Monday DT challenge on the SNS blog. I used the new snowflake Cuttlebug folder and sanded it to give it a distressed look. I also used Pearl-Ex on my snowflake to give it a distressed look as well.

Several Challenges in one

The challenge this week at Cupcake Craft Challenges is "Home Inspiration" so I took a picture of my Christmas tree with snowmen on it and then used the colors from my wall to make the snowman card above. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday and it is also qualifies for the challenge at Whiff of Joy "Contemporary Christmas" which is to use any colors but red and green and then the final challenge it qualifies for is Cute Card Thursday "Punches" I used my snowflake punch along with a border punch

Tis the Season

Belli #45/ Sketch Saturday

The belli challenge this week is "Christmas" so get out those Christmas stamps because we could all use one more Christmas card. For my card I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday and the stamp is a cute RAM which you can find at Sweet N' Sassy stamps. The paper is the Oh Joy collection by Cosmo Cricket and I colored him with my copic markers. To play along simply create something, anything with Christmas on it and leave a comment here on Chrissy's Blog with a link to your creation. Kleenex Holder

This is a challenge at the Sweet N' Sassy blog, to make a Tissue holder that holds Kleenex and cough drops. This would make a cute gift to give someone with a cold. Mine does not have any tissue or cough drops in it because I am currently sick with a cold so I am using them ..lol

CCC #17

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenges is this sketch set by Lauren. This was a great sketch to work with and here is my take on it. I used an Christmas Tilda image and the paper is MME. All Decked Out

The challenge this week at Stamp Something is "Snow Somethings. So I used this new set "All Decked Out" from CTMH to create this fun card. I love snowmen :)

Belli Challenge #44

The Belli Challenge this week is "Cracked Glass" and it took me forever but I finally got a card I am half way okay with. I did not have any UTEE so I used regular clear embossing powder but I would advise to do this techniques the UTEE is way better. To play along create any project using UTEE and post a link on Chrissy's blog for a chance to win a special pack of designer papers. Look on my side bar for the links to the rest of the Belli Girls. There are some beautiful creations out there. The sketch for this one is Julee's Mojo Monday Challenge.

DT Reveal

Deanne at Just My Sketches does card and page sketches twice a month. The above sketch is the Dec 2nd card reveal and my take on her sketch. I used a new release from Sweet and Sassy stamps "Cozy Feathered Friends" for my card and colored the little birdies with my copic markers. The paper is Bo Bunny and the snowflake is Martha Stewart.
