A Hoppin' kinda day!

I mean Hoppin' like I have two more cards to show you.

Today starts the first day of the summer kickoff blog hop for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and I completely forgot about it is also the day the junior DT posts to The Sweet Stop
a new sketch blog for SNS where you can find a different sketch each week for inspiration, the third week each month there will be a prize involved.
And since today is Wednesday it's Belli day!
The neat thing about all this going on today along with the Sweet 'n Sassy Hop is that both of my cards are made using SNS stamps :) So here they are:

First up my card from The Sweet Stop sketch

For this card I used the Sweet 'n Sassy set Jesus Cares which is currently sold out right now but will be back in stock soon. The papers are K&Co. and I used my nestibilities and prima flowers. If you want to play along go to The Sweet Stop and upload your card using Mr' Linky. If you post to a gallery please use SSS01 as your key word so we can find it.

The Belli challenge 64 is Big Brads or Eyelets and this Sweet n' Sassy digi stamp Keep Truckin fit perfectly. I used large eyelets for the tires. I also made the sentiment included in this set as the back of the truck. The papers are from my stash and I used a MS border punch as well. If you play along with us Belli girls please go to the Creative Belli Blog and link to Mr' Linky or if you upload to a gallery use CBC54 as your key word so we can find it.

What a busy Bloggin' day. Don't forget to follow the schedule I posted earlier and visit all the DT blogs for plenty of inspiration!

See you at the HOP!

an Award

I have just received this award from Sue one of my followers of my blog and I am so honored to be chosen by her. Sue lives in Australia and has some wonderful work on her blog. She is the guest DT member for May on Magnolia Down Under. They are a fairly new challenge blog that I didn’t know existed, one more for me to be addicted to.

Here is the text to be included with the award and it is to be passed on to 8 others. It is so hard to pick only 8 when I have so many friends who encourage me and are an inspiration to me so if I don’t list you doesn’t mean I didn’t want to.

And in random order the awards go to

Chris

Korin

Barb

Lori

Sandy

Teresa

Deedee

Courtney

Congrats Ladies and thank you for your friendship and inspiration, and to all my other friends thank you for your friendship as well ...If friends were flowers I would pick all of you!

Friday Sketchers Magnolia

I like how this one turned out with the bright colors. the sketch is Friday Sketchers #49 I just flipped it. The Just Magnolia challenge for this week is a color combo Pink & Green. This card would make a great birthday card to give to someone who is having a Hawaiian Luau for their theme, the flowers remind me of a lea and all those flowers qualifies it for the challenge at Stamp Something "Showers or Flowers"
Details for my card:
Image: Birthday Tilda ~ Magnolia
Sentiment: Happy Birthday ~ CTMH

Here is the post you will find at CPCM

"I chose Ceal Pritchett as our CASE Artist Saturday for the challenge. Ceal has a fabulous CPCM gallery and if that's not enough, check out her blog at Simply Beautiful Creations. I chose to CASE Ceal's Timmy the Turtle and came up my God is Good card below. You will have fun playing in this challenge. Be sure to use keyword CPCM-CAS02 when uploaded to our community gallery, your blog and other online communities. Have a great day and God bless you!"
Welcome to all and I look forward to seeing your CASE'd project.
Praise God for the talent He has giving you and me!

MoJo Monday 83

Well it took all week but I finally got my Monday Mojo. I had another image I was going to use but when I finished the layout I did not like he image with it. I found this Verve Plain Jane that worked well and its another card to give someone going through trials. The papers are Close To My Heart and the ribbon and flower are from my stash. I used the MS punch for my butterflies.
Can ya tell I like butterflies yet? To me they remind me of 2 Corinthians 5:17 that I am a new creation in Christ, as a butterfly is a new creation from a caterpillar.

Bible Verse Thursday Challenge #2

I am a proud member of a new papercraft community of Christian Papercraft Magazine, They have a challenge everyday and on Thursday you are challenged to use a bible verse. This week Korin challenged us to use a verse of encouragement. I choose Philippians 4:13, a verse that is familiar to most of us, but also a verse that many of us do not realize the power of. This verse doesn't say that we can do some things but ALL things through Christ who strengthens us. We just have to put our trust in Christ so that HE can give us the strength we need. I don't know what you are facing but if you give it to God he will give you the strength you need to get through it. I made this card for a friend who is going through some valleys right now.

This card also qualifies for a couple more challenges Stamptacular Sunday ~color challenge Black and White +1 and Simon Says challenge ~recycle The DP is from an old notebook and it is glossy so it was hard to get a picture that the flash didn't interfere.

Details of my card:
Stamps: Encouragement~Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Papers: Old Composition book
Misc: Primas, Nestibilities, MS border punch, Big Brad

Sweet 'n Sassy Monday

The Sweet 'n Sassy Monday challenge is to make a card using scripture somewhere on it whether it be inside or out. I used scripture from the SNS set "Encouragement". The sketch for this one is #112 from CPS. The papers are K&Co, Prima flowers so it qualifies for the Cute Card Thursday challenge "Floral Fantasy". I used MS Punches for the leaves and butterflies. Brads, button, and pearls from my stash.

A little cutie with a puppy

This card ended up qualifying for four challenges. I started it for the challenge at Secret Crafter #28 "CREATE A SCENE", well then I needed a sketch so I found this one by Becky at My Time To Craft. I went to pick out my papers and found the old BasicGrey Romani paperpack so I went to the BasicGrey challenges and their challenge is "PAPER PIECING" so I paper pieced Tilda and when I was done I wish I had chosen a different image this one was pretty tedious. When I got done I was checking my list of challenges and realized I had used punches so it qualified my card for the Spoonful Of Sugar challenge "TO DIE FOR" which was to use punches or diecuts. So there you have it a four in one card with a spring theme to give a friend.

Details of my card:
Stamps: Tilda W/Puppy ~Magnolia
Tilda's Birds ~Magnolia
Fence: Happy Harvest ~Sweet 'n Sassy
Sentiment : Dainty Thoughts ~CTMH
Misc: Copics, Ribbon, MS Border punch, SU Photo Corner Punch

Just Magnolia

The is a brand spankin new Magnolia challenge blog titled "Just Magnolia". Their very first challenge is this sketch challenge by the very talented Donalda, and wow is there a great prize if you are the random winner. For my card I used Making Memories Papers that I got for my Bday along with the ribbon from Michael's. I embossed the brown piece with my cuttlebug embossing folder. The flowers are cut out from a CTMH set "Friendship Flowers", The sentiment (ticket) is also from CTMH from a set "Just The Ticket". The image is Tilda with Tulips and I used my Copic markers for all my coloring.

Have a Happy Day!

Dreamy Tilda

This one is done for the Secret Crafter challenge which was a color challenge along with a sketch challenge. I thought I had done this one in time but I see they have posted another challenge so this one is last weeks challenge. The color challenge was Chocolate and Orange which turned out to be a pretty color combo. I have made a card earlier this week using that color combo and then realized that I had a sketch to follow as well so here is my card. I used dreamy Tilda, with papers from CTMH and all the other embellishments are from my stash.

April Roundup with a Belli

Got Digi?
If you have been hesitant to try digital stamps you should give it a shot and Sweet 'n Sassy has lots to choose from for only $3.00 a piece and some have sentiments. This is one of the newest "Thanks A Bunch" designed by Tami Mayberry. This is a great set to have to use for thank you and friendship cards because it comes with 3 different sentiments for only $3.00 how cool is that in today's tough economy? I paper pieced the vase and colored the flowers with my Copic markers. This digi image went perfectly with the new paper from CTMH to make a cute card to give your girlfriend

The Belli Challenge this week is Dry Embossing so I pulled out the ole cuttlebug and embossed the background to my card. For this card I used the "Treasure Life" set from CTMH and the sentiment is from the "Jesus Cares" set from Sweet 'n Sassy.

This one is a two in one, the sketch is from Truly Scrumptious for their 4th challenge which also challenges you to use flowers and the color combo yellow/green is the first challenge at Simon Says a brand new challenge blog. The stamp is another Sugar Nellie and the sentiment is from Rubbernecker. The papers are from K&Co and again I used my Copic markers for coloring, and embellished it with some Prima flowers, Kaiser pearls, and ribbon from my stash

A Sweet 'n Sassy Cupcake

Good Morning Stampers!
Do you love Cupcakes? Well Sweet 'n Sassy has this new digital set "Sweet Thang" It comes with a cupcake and three sentiments for only $3.00 how cool is that? And the best part is the instant gratification no shipping, no baking, just purchase, download and enjoy!

This card also qualifies for the Stamp Something challenge "SHAPES" I used my Copic markers for the coloring, some pop dots for dimension and the papers and ribbon are from my stash.

Three different challenge blogs had a chocolate challenge. BasicGrey's challenge 30 is " Chocolate Soft Centers" so my chocolate center is Strawberry and I used the Bittersweet papers. Cute Card Thursday's challenge 55 is "Marshmallows and Chocolate" which is a pink and brown color challenge. Cute Daisy May's challenge is also a brown and pink color combo. The sketch is # 47 from Friday Sketchers and One Stop Craft's challenge 24 is "Torn" to use torn paper somewhere on your project.
