More SOA gearing up for the Finale

>

This first card is for the Button Button challenge sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps on SOA but it is also a color challenge at Color Create of Lemon, Pink Sorbet, and Chocolate. I have to admit when I seen this color challenge I thought to myself What!?!? I love the way it turned out those colors go well together. The image is a Magnolia image sent to me by a friend. The sketch for this one is an old CPS #68.

This card is for the Textured Flower challenge, sponsored by I Heart Papers. The image is Close To My Heart as well as the papers. This card also qualifies for A Spoon Full of Sugar's "LACE" challenge. and Cute Card Thursday's "BIT 'O BLING" with the glitter.

This one uses BasicGrey Papers and is for the remembering someone you love challenge set by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The image is the Free digi that Sweet 'n Sassy stamps is giving away for the SOA benefit. I used the Toile technique to give it some dimension and also clear beads in the center. It does not show well in the photo but this card turned out beautifully. If you did not get to participate in SOA no worries you can purchase this digi set from Sweet 'n Sassy and some of the money will go to SOA. the sketch for this one is Sketch Saturday, it is their birthday so you will want to go check out their challenge.

Even More SOA Cards

This little duck makes the cutest baby card! He is part of a set "Pond Pals" that will be on sale the entire month of June along with some more oldies but goodies over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
My card was made for the Gina K. Sketch challenge at Stampin Out Alzheimer's . There is still time to join and get in on the fun but tomorrow is the last day. You have until midnight to complete the challenges to be eligible to win.

This card is for the MoJo Monday challenge but completing this challenge also makes you eligible to win over at SOA. This was a fun sketch to work with and it is one I am sure I will use again. The stamp I used for this one is a Sweet 'n Sassy scripture one from the set "Jesus Cares", which is one of my faves.

Well I am down to only 4 more challenges for the SOA event and I would have made a separate card for each challenge. As you all know I love to combine challenges to see how many I can get on one card. I feel this is a worthy cause and wanted to give SOA all the exposure I can. Check back later for the rest of the challenges. Better yet join and help out!

Funny Farm and SOA

This card uses "Funny Farm" one of the Oldies but Goodie sets from Sweet 'n Sassy that will be going on sale starting June1st. It goes for a Stampin' Out Alzheimer's sketch challenge set by Susana Dean, who also challenges you to make it for a special loved one. This one is for my daughter who lives back home on the East Coast. Completing this one gives you a chance to win 9 brand new stamps, paperpack and embellies, WOW.
So there is still time if you have not registered, to play along in all the SOA challenges. All you to do is go here and register along with a $5.00 or more donation to a worthy cause. You will have until midnight May31st to complete the challenges in order to qualify for the drawings.

This card is for the Verve Sketch challenge at SOA and uses a Verve Plain Jane stamp. I love this scripture. It is so comforting to know that when we are tired and weary and need rest all we have to do is cast our burdens upon Jesus and he will give us REST!

Sweet 'n Sassy Blog Hop Day 3

Good Morning Stampers!

For You

This cute little Rachelle Anne Miller stamp is one I have not inked up in a while but my Sisterhood's card for this week is "Love & Romance" and how romantic is it when your hubby comes home with flowers behind his back!?! I also made this card for this weeks challenge at BasicGrey which is "Doodling". I doodled around the stamp with a fine point marker, and colored it with my Copic markers. The paper is Phoebe from BasicGrey.
The sketch for this card comes from Stampin Out Alzheimer's set by Little Paper Shop. I am telling ya, you are missing out if you have not joined yet. The goal was set for $5000.00 and we have passed that by $800.00 but there is still time to join if you haven't and get in on the prizes given away daily plus a chance to win all sorts of goodies with challenges.

More SOA Cards

I have been working on some more Stampin' Out Alzheimers cards for challenges. This first one is for an All In One challenge set by I Brake For Stamps. This was a pretty tough challenge as you had to use 1 Stamp, 1 Color, 1 Ribbon, and 1 Embellishment. The stamp I used for this one is Dream Silhouettes from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I used Breeze (CTMH) cardstock along with Breeze ink and embossed it as well to give it some dimension. The embellishment I used is a brad from Making Memories.

This card is a Two By Two challenge at SOA. The challenge is set by Taylored Expressions. You are to use two colors Pink & Brown (along with a neutral color) and two embellishments, no more than two, mine are ribbon and gems. I used the same set Dream Silhouettes for this one as well. This is one of my favorite sets at Sweet 'n Sassy. It is currently sold out but will be back in stock early June. The sketch for this one is from Stamp Something.
If you still have not joined Stampin' Out Alzheimers there is time the challenges will run until May 31st. The prizes are great and you get all this for a $5.00 donation to a worthy cause.

More Stampin' Out Alzheimers

If you have not joined Stampin' Out Alzheimer's, you should do so today! There are tons of challenges and chances to win some great prizes. You can join simply by making a $5.00 donation to this worthy cause. My card today is for a sketch challenge set by Taylored Expressions. For an extra shot at winning you could make your card a birthday card, so I did just that. A girl needs all the chances she can get.
For this card I used an oldie but goodie stamp set from Close To My Heart "Delight In Everything" and design paper from Let's Get Together Paperpack, also from CTMH. To get the yellow ink block in the middle of my card I simply inked up my acrylic block and stamped on the CS. I added brads and ribbon to embellish.

CASEing A Friend

Today's CASE (Copy And Share Everything) Artist on Christian Papercraft Magazine is my Friend and fellow Sweet 'n Sassy DT member Deedee Anderson. You can find her gallery here if you want to play along she has some beautiful cards to CASE. I choose to CASE this one for the sketch and this one for the technique.
I also made this card for this week's Bible Verse Thursday on CPCM where the challenge is to make a card using a bible verse of course but also using the colors Black, Tan and Teal/Aqua Blue.
My card uses a Digi stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps Gossamer Butterfly and a computer generated verse which I just noticed that I forgot to put the verse reference 2 Corinthians 5:17. I colored the Butterfly with my copics and distress the paper with distress inks. The technique used on the butterfly is the cracked glass technique, then wiped with distress ink to distress it more. I added a black ribbon to bring out the black in the design paper and butterfly.

I choose the verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 because butterflies remind me of this verse they become a new creature, as do we when we accept Christ as our Savior. The old is gone and we are a new creation!

Forgiven and Free!
