With our theme being A Walk On The Wild Side I thought I would do this WILD birthday card using K&Co Wild Saffron papers. Next hop on over to Janette's blog where I am sure she will have a beautiful project as always.

A Walk On The WILD Side

The Sweet 'n Sassy blog hop starts today and the DT has come up with some WILD projects. This month's theme is talk a walk on the wild side . We came up with that name because the stamps we are featuring this month are all animals in the wild.
Here is the schedule for today start at the SNSS blog and then head to Belinda, Jeanette, Lisa and then with Sandy. You may have noticed I am not on the schedule for today, my day is Friday but I wanted to share some cards with you that I made from the featured sets.
My card today features the set Doodle Birds, it is cute set with great sentiments and images.
I used the Mojo Monday sketch, colored my birds with Copic markers, and used stickles on the wings. I took Flower Soft and tried to mimic the flowers in the paper and give it a little texture.

Happy Hoppin'

One Of A Kind

Had a lot going on today but finally managed to get in some time to make a card :). It is just good therapy sometimes. The set I used is Gracie a set made for children's charities by Sherrod Studio. Sorry about the fuzziness on the sentiment I did not even realize it until I got it uploaded.
The sentiment reminds me of Ephesians 2:10 "We are Gods workmanship..." do you realize that you are a masterpiece created by the God of the universe. One of a kind there is no one like you and no one loves you more than your creator!

Beach anyone?

This is a little album made from a Tru-fit folio from Close To My heart. My sister called and wanted me to make something for her director who is leaving. She lives near the beach and loves beachy things so she asked if I could make a card or something beachy. Well I do not have hardly any beach themed stamps and I had to make this pronto to get it in the mail so I used what I had and then drew some what I didn't.

The inside uses several sets plus my homemade ones. The seahorse and the cute little sea turtle are Sweet 'n Sassy digis. The sand bucket and sand castle are part of a set By The Seashore from Sherrod Studio. I drew the starfish, shells, sand dollar and beach ball and colored all of them with my Copic markers . The papers are from Sandy Lion, the ribbon is from my stash. I used pop dots on the starfish and shells to give it some dimension
The tags for the folders uses Dream Silhouettes, Encouragement, and A True friend all from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. I also uses a set Treasure Life from CTMH as well. She wanted something they could all sign for her so I left two of the tags blank as well as the backs of the other tags so they have plenty of room to say a little thank you. This was my first project using the Tru-fit folios I hope she likes it.

A Sweet 'n Sassy CPS

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is proud to be sponsoring the CPS sketch challenge blog again this week. Tami cooked up another fabulous sketch that we've really enjoyed using!
My card uses a winter set from Sweet .n Sassy "Winter Fun W/Sam & Gretchen". Where are Sam & Gretchen you ask? Well they are here. I just used the snowman, snowballs and sentiment from the set. Belli Challenge 69~TEXTURE~

Good Morning Stampers,

The challenge for the next two weeks is ~TEXTURE~so get out your flock, flower soft, mesh anything with texture and create a project to share with us. To play along just go to the Creative Belli Blog and post a link to your creation using Mr. Linky. If you post to a gallery please use keyword CBC69 so we can find it. Also check out my sidebar for links to the Belli girls to see more inspiration.
For my card I used a Magnolia image that was RAKed to me from my friend Sandy. I added some flower soft as TEXTURE to the flowers to make them pop. I also ran the Sweet Leaf cardstock through my cuttlebug to add a little more TEXTURE. I colored my image using Copic Markers and added some ribbon, brads, prima flowers, and dew drops to finish it off. The sketch is this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday.

New Creation

This card I am sharing with you uses one of my favorite new releases from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps "In His Time". I just love the butterflies because they are New creations just like when we accept Christ as Lord of our lives, we become New creations, throwing away the old and putting on the new, we learn to love with the love of Christ.
I used black and white color combo, the color challenge at Cupcake Craft. For the butterfly I embossed it on black cardstock using mirror embossing powder and then again on white cardstock. This reminds us that before salvation we are black but when we accept the gift of salvation, the blood of Christ washes us white as snow and we become that New creation.
The sketch for my card is the Mojo Monday sketch for this week I love it.
