A Royal Belli

To play along with the Royal wedding of Wills and Kate this week we decided to have a Royal challenge, that means we would like to see fleur de lis, diamonds, princess, crowns, tiaras, the color purple, anything that means royalty. After you have created your ROYAL project link it to the Creative Belli challenge blog so we can see. If you post to an online gallery please use the keyword CBC116.
For my card I found some old CTMH paper that had Fleur de Lis on it and used black, and red cardstock. I also used a goldleaf pe to color the crown and add gold around the edges of my image.
and matted it on the new spellbinder die Fleur de lis rectangle die.

Tuesday Throwdown #46

Finally I got to post my card for this weeks challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. Our challenge this week is Brads or Eyelets.... Our sponsor is My Grafico and they sent us the great pre colored images., and that is why I am late posting first I made the wrong card, because they are also sponsoring us in May and then when I realized I made the wrong card, I had no colored ink in my printer so I had to go buy ink in order to print the digis out. I used several in one set and just made my own look by layering them. Now you say where are your brads or eyelets? haha I fooled you. see those buttons well they are brads! I made them myself using some brad daddies from Imaginisce.
To play along create your project using Brads or Eyelets and link it to the Tuesday Throwdown challenge blog for a chance to win. If you post to an online gallery please use keyword TT46

HE Lives!!!

Happy Good Friday!

As you can see I have not posted in a while, I have been spending quality time with my sweetie because he has been off but I just had to make a card and share for today.
I just love this rugged Cross in the He Lives set from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. I wanted to make my card rugged  torn, distressed to represent the pain and suffering Jesus went through to endure the cross so that you and I would not have to. I used the cuttlebug thank you embossing folder to say thanks to Jesus for what he done for me and the coolest thing... is that if I were the only person on this earth, he still would have died just for me!  This is love not that we love God but that God loved us so much that he sent us son to die on our place as the perfect sacrifice .
If you do not know this Jesus I am speaking of please email me at ceal331@gmail.com  and I would love to share Him with you!
I serve a risen savior, my God is not dead he is alive and well and  lives in the world today in the hearts of  His people!  Praise the Lord Hallelujah!

Help For Japan Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to a very special blog hop today!  You may have been on the first hop that Whimsy put on for this special cause.  Well, there were so many who volunteered to join in that we had to do a second one!  The illustrators of Whimsy Stamps have come together to draw a special set of digi images for the purpose of raising money for the relief effort in Japan.  All proceeds from the sale of these images will be donated to that cause.   Kenny K, Raindrop Echo Designs, Meljens Designs, and Crissy Armstrong all contributed art work.

For the whole month of April, you can purchase the images as a set or individually (your choice) by visiting this page on the Whimsy store site.  Please consider helping this special cause by purchasing one or all of the digital images we are offering.

If you have landed here from Ann V's blog, you are right on track.  If you have come here randomly and would like to start hopping from the beginning, please go to Ann's blog.   She has the blog rotation order posted if you need to refer to it.

The amazing ladies of two design teams have come together to host this blog hop for you!  The team from Sentimental Sundays and the Kenny K Krafty Girlz have joined forces to design some amazing jaw dropping creations for you.  You have seven days to hop through all the blogs and enjoy all the lovely creations from these talented people.

The hop runs from now through til Sunday April 17 at noon.  There will be several opportunities to win blog candy!  Four random commenters will get a chance to receive one of the three individual images or Ann's sentiment set.  So be sure to leave comments all along the way for your chance at a free digi!  Also, if you post the "Help for Japan" button on your blog's sidebar, you can enter into the draw for the grand prize!  The grand prize will consist of the entire digital set made just for this cause as well as a gift certificate donated by Ann of Raindrop Echo Designs worth $10 to use at the Whimsy Stamps store! To enter, you must help us advertise for this cause by posting the "Help for Japan" button on your blog's side bar (just grab it from my side bar or from the top of this post) and then get your name on the Inlinkz option on Ann's post so we can be sure to find the winner.

Now on to my project:

I have used  images from Meljen's designs and Crissy Armstrong in my project today. I colored them with my Copic markers. I found patterned paper from K& Co that looks oriental to me.

Next you'll want to visit Cheryl's blog to continue hopping.  Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your support of this very worthy cause.
