SNSDC#69 Old , New and Blue

Happy Friday everyone!!

It's time for another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi challenge, 

This week's challenge is:

"Something New, Old and Blue"

Use a new supply you just got & old supply you have for a long time, and color blue

For my card, I used some new designer paper and old rhinestones that I have had at least a year. The image I used is the Morning Glory digital stamp. I love using tis stamp and coloring the flowers different colors, what color are morning glories anyway?

Addi Update ~ God Is Good

What a little trooper!

This is Addi right after she got her IV put in so they could start her antibiotics. They did not even numb her hand before putting it in and this is the look she gave them when they were done.

Her surgery went well, the hole in her heart was very large and her little heart was working so hard because of this hole, it was also enlarged. Her doctor said in all his years of pediatric cardiology (which is over 30 years) he had never seen one this large and it was amazing how well she was developing with such a large hole, God is good! The hole was so large that there wasn't a device big enough to close the entire thing , it is 98% closed and he thinks that over time the tissue should cover the device and close the remaining hole. If not she will need another surgery when she is older.  So please continue to pray for my little grand daughter Addilyn Makenzie AKA Addi bugs

 For my card I used the Psalm 46:1 digital stamp. I love this promise that lets us know we can always count on God to help us in times of trouble, how comforting! My flower is made out of dryer sheets. I love the way these flowers turn out and they smell good too! I added some stickles to give it a little sparkle.

 For my card I used the Eskimo Kisses digital stamp. I am ready for some cooler weather. I printed the image on two different design papers so I could paper piece the jackets. I colored the  rest using Copic markers.

I made the team! 

Our challenge for the next couple weeks is Birthdays ...easy peasy!  I used Buddy's Balloon  on my card.

Grunge Borders Miracle

 

I am a huge fan of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and I am so excited to tell you that I am a fulltime Sweet 'n Sassy Design Diva again. I am still on the Digi DT and I do sponsorshipfor them as well, see how much of a fan I am ..haha

For my card I used two different Sweet 'n Sassy sets, Grunge Borders and Everyday Miracles. Grunge Borders is a new release and boy is it versatile. On my card I added Grunge Borders as a background stamp and embossed the panel to give my card a vintage look. For the release hop I shared a card using Grunge Borders to make faux washi tape. It has four different borders that will cover your card either direction.
 Next I used Everyday Miracles for the sentiment and the butterfly. This is one of my favorite butterfly images to color. To finish off my card I added some lace and ribbon.

 For my card I used Rhubarb Back To School digital stamp. You can now get this image along with another and 9 sentiments in a clear stamp.   I colored my image using Copic markers.The chevron pattern is actually a clear set that was released today also, Grunge Borders.

Now for my cards

For this card I made Faux Washi Tape  tape by placing 1" score tape on copy paper and then stamping the dotted pattern from the Grunge Borders set. This set is a great set to do that with. I also love the Chevron in that set. The sentiment is from the Vintage Postcard set which is a favorite of mine.

This card uses another cute Rhubarb set Back To School Rhubarb. I colored him up using Copic markers and sponged around to give it a more vintage look to match the design paper.
